Update 1.2 added support for ultra-wide (21: 9) and ultra-wide (32: 9) monitors on PCs. According to the Bloomberg Team studio, this is what was most lacking in the game. “Due to The Medium’s design (fixed cameras), the implementation was difficult, but we are happy we were able to do it for you,” added the developer.

Also, in The Medium on PC, Xbox Series X, and S, gameplay bugs have been fixed, and issues with changing resolutions when playing on multiple monitors and changing audio devices. Besides, The Bloober Team has slightly improved performance across all platforms and expanded options for people with disabilities.

The Medium tells the story of a girl with superpowers who can move between the world of the living and the dead. She goes to the Niva resort to find out its secrets and understand the present and past events.

The Medium was released on January 28, 2021, for PC, Xbox Series X, and S.
