Leica Sofort 2 is a hybrid camera
Seven years have passed since the release of the Sofort camera from Leica, and now the Germans have presented a new model – Sofort 2. Made in the classic design of the Leica M11 and being quite compact (dimensions – 123 x 87 x 44 mm), this model has one important advantage over cameras Fujifilm Instax: it allows you to both print pictures and save them to internal memory or a memory card for later processing.
Sofort 2 received a sensor that allows you to take photos with a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels (4.9 megapixels). The internal memory is enough for 45 pictures, but a microSD memory card with a capacity of only 1 GB will fit 850 pictures.
The Leica Sofort 2 instant printing camera has been introduced
Lens – with EGF 28 mm and variable aperture F/2-F/16. The minimum focusing distance is 10 cm, and the shutter speed range is from 1/4 to 1/8000 s. It is possible to turn the flash on and off. There is also a 3-inch screen with a resolution of 460 thousand pixels. In general, there are more settings than many instant cameras. By the way, it uses Instax Mini cartridges.
Sofort 2 is the Leica that almost everyone can afford: the price is $300.
