This follows from the OS source code for PS Portal
The portable gaming console PlayStation Portal, as you know, does not require or have a powerful chip, since games run on PS5. Disassembly showed that PS Portal is based on a certain Qualcomm processor. Now it is reported that this is a regular Snapdragon SoC.
The new Sony PlayStation game console turns out to be based on the Snapdragon 680
The source code of the console’s operating system suggests that we are talking about the Snapdragon 680, although earlier there was information about the Snapdragon 662. However, in terms of configuration these are almost identical platforms, but the first is produced at 6 nm standards versus 11 nm for the second, so it is more likely first option.
The Snapdragon 680 has four Cortex-A73 and four Cortex-A55 cores. This SoC scores about 300,000 points in AnTuTu 10, that is, this is a rather modest solution, but PS Portal does not require anything productive.
