The premiere of the new film adaptation of Mortal Kombat will take place on April 23 – a week later than planned

The reason for the postponement of the release of the picture, the company did not say. Perhaps Warner Bros. decided to postpone Mortal Kombat to create unnecessary competition for “Godzilla vs. Kong.” She’s probably trying to get the most out of showing the movie in theaters and doesn’t want to divert viewers’ attention to another major premiere.

Recall: the plot of the new film adaptation of Mortal Kombat tells about the famous tournament “Mortal Duel,” where the Earth Kingdom warriors face opponents from the Outside World. The main character of the film will be a new character named Cole Young. In an attempt to save his family, he agrees to become one of the Earth’s defenders and go to the aforementioned tournament.

Mortal Kombat will be released simultaneously in theaters and streaming service HBO Max, like the rest of the Warner Bros. films. In 2021.
