In a few days, Progress MS-24 will be launched to replace it
The Progress MS-22 space truck has completed its flight. Today it was de-orbited, entered the atmosphere and collapsed. Unburned structural elements fell in the non-navigable area of the South Pacific.

The spacecraft departed the Zvezda service module of the International Space Station at 02:50 Moscow time on August 21. At 05:58 its propulsion system began braking. After that, “Progress” descended from orbit.

The truck was launched from Baikonur on February 9 and arrived at the ISS two days later, delivering more than 2.5 tons of cargo. With the help of its engines, nine corrections were made to the station’s orbit.

At the moment, Progress MS-23 remains in the station, and Progress MS-24 will soon join it – the spacecraft has already been taken to the Baikonur launch pad, the launch is scheduled for August 23, 04:08 Moscow time.
Recall that yesterday Roskosmos announced the collapse of the Luna-25 station – it fell on the moon.
