It was originally planned that the device will appear in 2021.
At the last SPIEF-2023 forum, Viktor Ivanovsky, Head of the KasperskyOS Business Development Group, spoke about the development of a hack-resistant smartphone by the company. There has been some progress here.

“ Basic applications are already running on the prototype of a professional mobile device running KasperskyOS. In the list of scenarios necessary for the smartphone to work: calls, address book, sms, settings panel. Next in line is support for Wi-Fi, NFC, cameras. These components are primarily needed for industrial scenarios ,” Ivanovsky said. He also added that the company plans to introduce a Chromium-based browser ” so as not to burden developers with a new browser platform .”
Kaspersky Lab, according to Ivanovsky, will not bring the smartphone to the market on its own – this will be done in cooperation with partners. “ Both Russian and Asian companies can act as them ,” Ivanovsky added.
Recall that Eugene Kaspersky announced work on his own secure smartphone in December 2020, then it was assumed that the device would appear in 2021.
