The release of the first story add-on to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was postponed for two weeks, but the reasons will be told later
Publishing Ubisoft and the developer studio Ubisoft Montreal in the official microblogging of the Assassin’s Creed series announced the forced postponement of the “Wrath of the Druids” add-on to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to a later date.
Recall, until recently, the release of the first of two (or three ?) Planned storyline expansions for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla were expected on April 29 of this year.
As it turned out, the developers do not have time to the scheduled date, in connection with which the premiere of “Wrath of the Druids” was decided to be postponed for two weeks: from now on, the release of the addon is scheduled for May 13th.
The exact reason for the transfer between Ubisoft and Ubisoft Montreal was not disclosed but added that the additional time would help the expansion team “provide a more refined experience. “
Ubisoft also thanked the fan community for their patience and promised to publish material to “provide transparency and accountability for our production process. “
“Wrath of the Druids” will send players to Ireland to uncover the secrets of the ancient and mysterious cult of the Druids: to find and find members of the sect, as well as to enlist the support of the Gaul kings.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on PC (Uplay, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Google Stadia. The release of the second plot add-on – “Siege of Paris” – is still expected at the beginning of this summer.
