The release version of Torchlight III goes on sale on October 13, everywhere except the Nintendo Switch

“A full release of Torchlight III would not have been possible without the incredible work of the entire Echtra team and our wonderful community of players in the Early Access version,” said Echtra Games CEO and Torchlight series co-founder Max Schaefer. “ We put our heart and soul into this new adventure, and it was great to get this kind of player support while the game was in development. With the significant changes we’ve made to Torchlight III’s Early Access, we’ve done our best to integrate player desires as efficiently as possible as we move towards launch. Next month we can’t wait to welcome all players to the Frontier! “

According to Perfect World Entertainment, Torchlight III will include all the mechanical characteristics of the Torchlight series, including a combat system, a vibrant world and four-player online co-op multiplayer, and a single-player mode. In addition, it will have a pet system, customizable forts, a multi-level development system “Contracts”, many tasks and boss battles in randomly generated locations, and, finally, a lot of epic trophies.

Torchlight III’s storyline campaign will span three acts. According to the story, a century has passed in the game after the events of Torchlight II, when the great heroes of the past defeated the Dark Alchemist and sealed the heart of the Lord of the Void inside the core of the clockwork. But now the Amber empire is again on the verge of collapse, as it is threatened by the invasion of the Netherim and their allies. To save the world, players will need to brace themselves and challenge the villains.
