The result is a little predictable: journalists compared the image quality of Cyberpunk 2077 on PC and PS5

The Video Games Chronicle portal published material in which journalists compared the image quality in several scenes of Cyberpunk 2077 on two different platforms: PC and PlayStation 5.

Cyberpunk 2077

It should be noted that on PS5 the game was launched in backward compatibility mode with the installed patch of the first day. The version of Cyberpunk 2077 specially adapted for the new Sony console will have to wait until 2021.

In the case of the PC edition, the maximum graphics settings (and the average for ray tracing) and the following configuration were used: Intel Core i7-8086K processor with a frequency of 4 GHz, 16 GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 2070 video card.

According to the results of an hour-long acquaintance with the console version, journalists came to the conclusion that there are fewer people and cars on the streets on the PS5 in Cyberpunk 2077, as well as less advanced coverage.

We will remind, recently discovered that the version of Cyberpunk 2077 for Xbox Series X allows you to choose between quality and performance modes. There is no such option (yet) on PS5, but the game still produces 60 fps.

Comparative screenshots are presented below. Left – PS4 (launched on PS5), right – PC:

The lack of videos with comparisons of Cyberpunk 2077 for different platforms is due to the temporary ban on the publication of this kind of content. The restriction will expire today, December 9, at 14:00 Moscow time.

Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to be released on December 10 on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PS4, Xbox One, as well as GeForce Now and Google Stadia. In the released trailer released yesterday, the developers hid a secret message.
