At the beginning of this week, the Russian distributor of the Iranian automaker Saipa, Best Motors, held a press conference, during which it announced the start of sales of Saipa cars in Russia and told a lot of other interesting things. In particular, prices were announced: from 1 to 1.7 million rubles. Now another Saipa distributor in Russia and Belarus, the Belarusian Lucky Carensi, has given its forecast for prices for Iranian cars.

The basic forecast does not differ much from what Best Motors said: from 13 thousand dollars (1.015 million rubles) for the simplest versions of the Quick hatchback and Saina sedan to 1.72 million rubles for a well-equipped Shahin sedan with 6-step automatic. But there is one interesting point here: Lucky Carensi told that if you organize local assembly from car kits (the site of the Unison plant near Minsk is being considered for this), then the cost of the car will be reduced by 3 thousand dollars (or about 200 thousand rubles). rubles). And now it will be very interesting because the cost of Shahin with an “automatic” will drop to 1.5 million rubles. AvtoVAZ will have nothing to answer to this: Vesta will receive a CVT, and even then only next year, and the Chinese assembled under the Lada nameplate at the Nissan plant will obviously be more expensive.
The decrease in cost will be due to the fact that the distributor does not have to pay salvage fees during local assembly, and customs clearance of car kits is cheaper than a finished car.
Recall that Best Motors is also considering the start of production of Saipa in Russia – at a plant near St. Petersburg, which previously assembled MAN trucks .
