The company accuses the regulator of trying to circumvent US laws to prevent it from taking over Activision Blizzard

Microsoft’s desire to take over Activision Blizzard is so great that the company began to openly accuse the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) of violating the constitution. The thing is that a few weeks ago, the FTC began to block the merger between Microsoft and ActiBlizz through the courts.

Microsoft, in its exculpatory document, recalls that it and Activison Blizzard are just two gaming companies out of more than two hundred. The deal is supposed to increase Microsoft’s share of the mobile games market and not harm competitors in any way.

The FTC, in turn, does not believe Microsoft’s words about the mobile market and believes that the company is more interested in the Call of Duty series and the creation of a huge database of games that will be available exclusively in its ecosystem (Windows, Xbox, Cloud).
