Kaliningrad Avtotor announced the start of production of the BAIC X7 crossover. We have been preparing for this since June of this year: we installed and configured equipment, and trained personnel.
BAIC X7 will be the fifth model of the brand assembled in Russia: Avtotor previously began producing the BAIC U5 Plus sedan, BAIC X35, and BAIC X55 crossovers, as well as the BAIC BJ40 frame SUV. The price of BAIC X7 will be between BAIC X55 (2.95 million rubles) and BJ40 (4.35 million rubles).
The X7 crossover began to be produced in Kaliningrad, but not BMW, but BAIC
Details about the equipment of the BAIC X7 will be revealed later, but it is known that the crossover will be offered with a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 180 hp. and a 7-speed “robot”. The car’s lighting will be entirely LED. The dimensions of the BAIC X7 are 4710 × 1892 × 1715 mm, the wheelbase is 2800 mm.
