The average score is 97 points out of 100 possible
Yesterday, the ban on publishing a review of the updated version of the role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was lifted. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition for PlayStation 5 averaged a score of 97 out of 100 on Metacritic after publishing 12 reviews. At the same time, the original game received 92/100 on the PlayStation 4 and 93/100 on the PC.
Almost all reviewers were completely delighted with the updated game. The following are citations from various publications:
The current example of RPGs and open worlds, The Witcher: Wild Hunt is a game for the ages; a rich and exciting world full of important decisions and a sense of intellectual and epic fantasy. Incredible.
Level Up (100/100)
This is the new standard for open world RPGs. There is no perfect game, but The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is close to perfect.
DarkStation (100/100)
It’s probably the best open-world RPG ever, but it still falls prey to some of the genre’s worst pitfalls.
PC World (100/100)
The Witcher 3 impressed not only with its huge size, but also with its small, completely charming surprises.
Game Star (92/100)
I would love to give the game 100 and call it a game for the ages, but the slow movement of the plot, the quest in which Geralt is on the edge to his death, and many other nitpicks and time eaters make me say that this game has nowhere to improve – legendary, independent catchy, but not perfect.
Ten Ton Hammer (90/100)
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an outstanding achievement by CD Projekt Red. This studio loves the RPG genre a lot, and it shows. With each subsequent release, their skills improved. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an absolute classic.
MMORPG.com (90/100)
