Steve Hemmerstoffer, known on the Web under the nickname OnLeaks, has published huge renders of the promising Samsung Galaxy A72 5G smartphone. This model should be released in early 2021, almost simultaneously with the flagship Galaxy S21 5G, but due to the lower price, it risks becoming more popular. At least, Galaxy A smartphones have already proved more than once that they are Samsung’s bestsellers, and Galaxy A72 5G is quite capable of surpassing the Galaxy S21 in sales. If so, it’s time to take a closer look at the potential hit.

Interestingly, the Galaxy A72 5G turned out to be very similar to the Galaxy S21 5G: on the front panel there is exactly the same Infinity-O screen with a front camera embedded in the center, and on the back, there is a camera unit based on a similar Galaxy S21 5G unit.
The display is characterized by a diagonal of 6.7 inches, and the main camera has four sensors. There are no exact camera parameters, but the insider believes that the resolution of the main sensor will be at least 64 megapixels. The camera is also rumored to have an optical image stabilization system.
Galaxy A72 5G measures 165 x 77.4 x 8.1 mm (9.9 mm including camera block protrusion). The Galaxy S21 won’t have a regular headphone jack, but here it is. There is also a fingerprint scanner – it is built into the display, the frame is metal. An insider believes that the cost of this potential Samsung hit will be roughly $ 600.
It should be noted that Steve Hemmerstoffer is a very reliable insider. For example, he published high-quality (and most importantly – absolutely correct!) Renders of the iPhone SE 2020 three and a half months before the release of this model. So both the images and the technical details from this post can be trusted.
