Trailer and Gameplay of the Ancient Greek Adventure Immortals Fenyx Rising by Ubisoft

The third-person action movie is made in a bright cartoonish and somewhat ironic style and plays on various ancient Greek myths in a huge open world. The main character is the winged demigod Phoenix – in the video, this is a woman, but if you wish, you can create a man, changing the color of skin, hair, and so on. This new hero will have to save the Greek gods and their home from the terrible curse of the mighty titan Typhon and his monsters. At the same time, he learns the secret of his past.

As the game progresses, it will be possible to enhance your abilities, master new skills and techniques, unlock weapons and equipment in order to overcome various legendary creatures such as harpies, cyclops, jellyfish, and minotaurs in fast-paced battles. The gods of Olympus bestowed upon the hero the sword of Achilles, the bow of Odysseus, the wings of Daedalus, and the ability to literally change the outcome of the battle.

There are also many puzzles and dungeons scattered around the world, where not only brute force but also ingenuity is useful. The Golden Island consists of seven unique regions in the style of the Greek gods – there are many obstacles to overcome, moving by land and by air. Regions promise varied, from the lush landscapes of the plains of Aphrodite to the mechanical world of the forge of Hephaestus.

An interesting feature of the game will be the storytelling from the perspective of the titan Prometheus chained to the rock and the lord of the gods Zeus. Of course, the two storytellers have different perspectives on what is happening, which is intended to add an additional perspective to what is happening in the game. In general, the game resembles a mixture of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with Assassin’s Creed. You can learn more about the gameplay and the world of the project in the 11-minute video with comments on what is happening:

By the way, the release date was much closer than one might think: the launch of Immortals Fenyx Rising will take place on December 3 of this year on PC (Epic Games Store and Uplay), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S as well as Google Stadia streaming service.
