Trine 4: Melody of Mystery will be available before the end of this month on PC (Steam, Origin, GOG, Humble Store), and will only reach PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in spring 2021.

Despite the proximity of a PC version release, the story addition has not yet acquired a page in any of the listed digital services. The announcement was limited to a short teaser trailer.

The events of Trine 4: Melody of Mystery take place on the territory of the Astral Academy, where the three central characters of the game arrive to investigate the magical slumber that overtook local students.

“With a suspicious and mistakenly released spirit, Amadeus, Pontius, and Zoe must go on their adventure for an encore,” says the description of Trine 4: Melody of Mystery.

Trine 4: Melody of Mystery promises six levels, additional music, new improvements for hero skills, and gameplay elements (ice, torches, magnets, and crystals), as well as full audio.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince was released in October 2019 for PC (Steam, Origin, GOG, Humble Store), PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. A month after the release, the free addition Toby’s Dream was released for the game.
