ASUS Chromebox 4 nettop is equipped with Intel Comet Lake processor and Wi-Fi 6
ASUS has unveiled a new small form factor desktop computer running Chrome OS: Chromebox 4 is powered by a 10th Gen Intel Core processor from the Comet Lake hardware platform.
The novelty is enclosed in a case with dimensions of only 148.5 × 148.5 × 40 mm. Depending on the modification, a Core i3-10110U, Core i5-10210U, Core i7-10510U, or Celeron 5205U processor is used. The amount of DDR4-2666 RAM is 8 or 16 GB.
A Gigabit Ethernet controller with an RJ45 port for connecting a cable is responsible for the wired connection to the computer network. There are also Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 wireless adapters.
The nettop can be configured with up to 64GB eMMC flash and / or 128GB or 256GB M.2 SATA SSD. Optionally, you can install a microSD card.
On the front panel, there are two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and a standard audio jack, on the back, there are three USB 3.2 Type-A connectors, an asymmetrical USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, and two HDMI interfaces.
The mini PC goes on sale next month with an estimated price of 21,507.17.
