Serial production of 2-nanometer products is planned to begin in 2024
According to a source, at a meeting with investors, TSMC representatives confirmed that the company is already developing a 2-nanometer process technology and is conducting preliminary studies related to the development of norms of less than 2 nm.

As we already reported, next year TSMC expects to start risky production using the 3-nanometer process technology N3, and the production of serial 3-nanometer products should begin in the second half of 2022. Last summer, the manufacturer announced the start of research related to the 2-nanometer process. The serial production of 2-nanometer products is scheduled to begin in 2024.
Currently, the company has mastered the 5-nanometer manufacturing process in serial production, but 35% of its revenue so far comes from the supply of 7-nanometer products, and in total all the advanced technologies, which include the 16-nanometer and more modern manufacturing processes in TSMC, provide 55% of the revenue.
