Released in no less than a year
Mobile Renoir processors have just entered the market, and even then only in the form of high-performance models, however, it is now clear that these APUs turned out to be extremely successful.
It is too early to talk about the release of the next generation, but some details already exist. The code name for the following Ryzen Mobile APUs is Cezanne. Judging by the existing logic, they will belong to the Ryzen 5000 line, but should not be confused with AMD desktop processors. Ryzen 5000 mobiles will be the counterparts to the Ryzen 4000 desktops.
Accordingly, Cezanne processors will retain the seven-meter process technology, but will switch to the Zen 3 architecture. The number of cores will also be preserved. The source also suggests that Cezanne processors will receive embedded GPUs based on the RDNA2 architecture, which is quite logical – using Vega in the future is unlikely to be advisable.
The source also suggests that the high-performance Cezanne-H will get a GPU that previously flashed on the Web under the name Navi 23.
