Twitter Discussed $ 4 Billion Purchase Of Clubhouse, But Talks Halted

The social network Twitter discussed the possibility of purchasing the Clubhouse audio platform for $ 4 billion. Bloomberg reported this, citing sources familiar with the situation. So far, the negotiations have been terminated.

The clubhouse is a voice-based social network created by former Google employees. Its popularity skyrocketed in early 2021 with Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and other celebrities. It is currently available exclusively on iOS, but the company is developing an Android version.
