Ubisoft divested of Uplay brand: soon Uplay + will be renamed

Ubisoft has rebranded its Uplay + subscription service ahead of its rollout on Google and Amazon cloud platforms. In the near future, it will be named Ubisoft +.

Uplay + offers the latest publisher releases for a monthly fee of $ 15, but soon the service will expand to cloud-based features – users will be able to play the provided projects through the streaming services Amazon Luna and Google Stadia.

The Luna beta is set to launch on November 10 and will be available to play through Google Stadia by the end of the year.

Ubisoft previously announced that it will merge Uplay with the Ubisoft Club loyalty program and other services to form a single Ubisoft Connect platform. Apparently, the publisher finally abandons the Uplay brand.
