Undertale creator reminded about Deltarune – development of the second chapter is “going well”

Game designer and composer Toby Fox in his microblog briefly told how things are going with the development of the second episode of Deltarune – a sequel to the acclaimed 8-bit role-playing game Undertale.

We will remind, earlier Fox admitted that close behind Deltarune: Chapter 2 sat down only in May 2020, but since then the production “has advanced a lot. ” Specifically, the team hoped to finish filling the game with content by the end of that year.

Apparently, the Deltarune team has managed to cope with the task: in a new tweet, Fox reports that “Chapter 2 development is going well” (with an exclamation mark).

The game designer did not decide to add anything specific to his already laconic message but said that he was “positively disposed” about the whole idea.

Deltarune takes place in a new world, and the game itself is not directly related to Undertale. At the same time, there is no talk about the absence of any connection with the cult RPG either.

The first episode of Deltarune is available for free download on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. It is reported that the second chapter will already be paid, but the timing of its release and the list of target platforms have not yet been specified.

The rest of the Deltarune releases will be released over a period of at least several (about four thousand ) years. At the same time, Fox has a general plot of the new adventure-ready since mid-2020.
