V for camera? Xiaomi patented a strange smartphone

The first commercial smartphone with a sub-screen camera, the ZTE Axon 20 5G , was recently unveiled , however, the development of pop-up cameras continues.

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has patented a smartphone design that includes two pop-up cameras that can be used for general photography and selfies. LetsGoDigital has created three-dimensional models of the device based on the patent images.

The smartphone described in the patent has a flat screen and very narrow bezels. Under the retractable cameras on the back, you can see the hole for the LED flash. Interestingly, both cameras slide out at an angle, they got two image sensors, front and back.

Xiaomi regularly patents interesting smartphones, but it is not at all a fact that at least some of them will turn into a commercial product.
