Vi3000 SSDs have a PCIe interface, and Vi560 S3 SSDs have a 6 Gb / s SATA interface
Verbatim introduced M.2 2280 SSDs designed to upgrade desktop and mobile PCs. They use 3D NAND flash memory.
Vi3000 drives are equipped with a PCIe interface and support the NVMe protocol. They demonstrate read speeds up to 3100 MB / s and write speeds up to 2900 MB / s. These drives are offered in volumes of 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB, and their resource is declared equal to 120, 240 and 480 TBW, respectively.
For cases where the PCIe interface is not routed to the M.2 slot, Verbatim Vi560 S3 SSDs are designed. They are equipped with a SATA 6 Gb / s interface. Due to the limitations of the interface, the read speed of these SSDs reaches 560 MB / s, the write speed – 520 MB / s. These drives are also offered in volumes of 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB, and their resource is 110, 240 and 450 TBW, respectively. The warranty for all drives is the same – three years.
The Vi560 S3 drives are already available; the Vi3000 drives will be available in May.
