Recall that the main features of the Game of the Year Edition will be unique packaging, a guide with advice on how to conduct combat and passing levels, as well as content from the upcoming free update .

The aforementioned patch will add an in-game message system to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, three costumes for the main character and two new ways to fight bosses (rematch and sequential battles).

Judging by the trailer, bosses (at least Genichiro) in the new modes will acquire additional moves. The staff of the Japanese PlayStation blog , who have already tested the fresh content, also mentioned this .

So, for example, it became known that the mode of successive battles is divided into four scenarios. Three of them involve battles with selected bosses, and the last one – with all. Details (with spoilers) are available at the link above.

Also, the journalists revealed the last of the new costumes for the protagonist: in addition to “Tengu” and “Shinobi of Old Ashina”, players will have the appearance of “Sura”. It is awarded for completing one of the sequential battle scenarios.

The content update will be available for free to all owners of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice on October 28 at 20:00 Moscow time. The game was released on PC (Steam), PS4 and Xbox One, and on October 29 it will reach Google Stadia.
