Video: blogger managed to run Cyberpunk 2077 in “potato” mode and see the worst graphics

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Cyberpunk 2077 have already earned a  bad name for their blatantly poor performance. But it turned out that the graphics in the game could be even worse. This was proved by the author of the YouTube channel DANNYonPC, who managed to launch a fresh RPG action from CD Projekt RED in “potato” mode. The visual component in this format looks, to put it mildly, weak.

Warning: The video contains slight spoilers for the Cyberpunk 2077 storyline.

DANNYonPC did not specify how the graphics shown in the video were obtained, however, without changing the settings in the game’s configuration files, it was clearly not done. Surrounding objects with such parameters have lost their clarity and often appear straight out of thin air. The draw distance is so low that distant buildings seem to be shrouded in a light fog. The character models are lost in detail and refer to games from fifteen years ago. Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu Reeves, barely looks like himself. You can also notice some angular objects and primitive hair.

Previously, GameSpot journalists did a similar thing with Mortal Kombat 11 and Death Stranding. To achieve such primitive graphics, they used NVIDIA Profile Inspector software.
