One of the first models of specialized video cards for mining, NVIDIA CMP 30HX, went on sale from the Arab retailer Micro less. The seller from Dubai has estimated the novelty performed by Palit at almost $ 724. The video card is based on one of the NVIDIA CMP (Cryptocurrency Mining Processor) processors. The purpose of this specialized series of graphics accelerators is to distract miners from GeForce gaming graphics cards.

The Palit GeForce CMP 30HX (NE630HX017J9-1160X) offers a base GPU frequency of 1530 MHz. Under load, it can rise to 1785 MHz. These indicators correspond to the capabilities of the Palit GeForce GTX 1660 Super GP gaming video card. Although the retailer does not indicate the number of CUDA cores in the NVIDIA CMP 30HX, it is believed to contain 1,408 CUDA cores based on the same TU116 (Turing) chip as the GeForce GTX 1660 Super.

Palit GeForce CMP 30HX and the gaming version of the graphics accelerator are equipped with 6 GB of GDDR6 video memory with 192-bit bus support, operating at an effective frequency of 14 GHz. Thanks to this, the video card’s memory provides a bandwidth of up to 336 GB / s. Since this video card is intended exclusively for mining, it is not equipped with external video interfaces.

The announced TDP indicator of the new product is 125 watts. Additional power supply to the graphics accelerator is provided using one 8-pin connector. The accelerator is ready to ensure Ethereum cryptocurrency mining efficiency at the level of 26 Mhesh / s.

Note that the price tag of goods sold in the UAE includes a 5% VAT. Without taxes, the Palit GeForce CMP 30HX should be priced at $ 689.37.
