Gaijin Entertainment and Darkflow Software have announced the release of the multiplayer shooter Enlisted on Xbox Series X and S on the same day as the console’s Game Preview launch. At the same time, the closed beta testing (Closed Beta Testing) of the game began on the PC. For this occasion, a fresh trailer is also presented.

First of all, those who previously supported the development of Enlisted through the purchase of “founder kits” are invited to the CBT – they have already received all the details. Participants of the past closed alpha testing are also invited – their access to the game was automatically extended. Others can also become participants in the CBT now.

The buyer of one of the “Founder’s Packs” (for the USSR or Germany) in the Gaijin Store, as well as on the Xbox Series X and S (in the Game Preview), immediately gets access to beta testing and the contents of the purchased set. Each set now costs 1499 ₽ and provides access to a premium unit and a submachine gun of one or the other side of the conflict. Those interested can also purchase a set including both sets for 2399 ₽.

Testing at this stage will take place in the Battle of Moscow campaign. This is one of four pre-planned campaigns. Game servers are available 24/7, excluding possible technical work. The goal of CBT is to check and adjust the balance of weapons, soldiers and armored vehicles, modes and missions, the progress of fighters and squads. Also, the developers will check the quality of soldiers controlled by artificial intelligence in battle and will try to improve it. Of course, errors will be corrected based on the feedback.

In Enlisted, you have to command not just one fighter, but an entire squad of infantry. One soldier is under the control of the player, and the rest obey his orders and fight under the control of the AI. You can freely switch between the soldiers of the squad. You can also command a tank crew or be a pilot. The developers are trying to reconcile the weapons, the uniform of the soldiers, the appearance, and the capabilities of the equipment with historical facts.

The game runs at 4K on the Xbox Series X and at 1440p on the Xbox Series S, both at 60fps. The Enlisted PC version supports NVIDIA DLSS technology for crisp images and improved performance. Ray-traced effects are available.
