Video: Enthusiast compares Cyberpunk 2077 graphics using one scene from demos with a two-year difference

Reddit user rustyspear11 posted a 3-minute video comparison of Cyberpunk 2077 graphics using one scene from demos in 2018 and 2020.

It is about a mission to infiltrate the lair of the Malstrom cybernetics gang in order to get a military bot for the representative of the weapon giant Milittek Meredith Stout.

A new demo of Cyberpunk 2077 took place as part of the Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online. The Japanese online exhibition version of the game boasts improved lighting, more detailed character models, and more.

In the comments to the video, rustyspear11 also drew attention to the shortcoming of the new build – in one of the episodes (0:43), the character’s hand passes through the shoulder of the companion, which was not in the 2018 demo.

The task of obtaining a military bot for Meredith Stout, as Sabado found out on Reddit in early July, suggests more than a dozen options for the development of events: the outcome of the mission depends on the player’s skills and background, as well as the decisions made.

Previously, CD Projekt RED published the system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077 for 1080p. Configurations “aimed at 4K, ray tracing, and the like,” the developer studio will reveal closer to release.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to premiere on November 19 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and GeForce Now. The launch of full versions of the project for PS5 and Xbox Series X is expected only in 2021.
