Video: features of VR mode and advantages of a multifunctional camera in new videos from Hitman 3
IO Interactive continues to prepare players for the launch of Hitman 3 – the final chapter of the newest trilogy about the adventures of Agent 47. Two new videos of the upcoming stealth-action have appeared on the web.
The first video is dedicated to the Hitman 3 mode announced back in August for the PlayStation VR headset. The two-minute trailer showcases gameplay snippets from the prequel and previous instalments.
Recall that in the VR version of Hitman 3, all locations from Hitman and Hitman 2 will be available. This means that thanks to the new model, fans will be able to look at old adventures from an unfamiliar angle.
The second video is a demonstration of one of the innovations in Hitman 3 – in addition to the already known gadgets, Agent 47 will have a multifunctional camera.
According to Game Informer, the device will be “an indispensable tool for professional and mischievous needs. ” The device, however, will not be an analogue of a full-fledged photo mode – it will not work to take a selfie.
Hitman 3 will be released on January 20 on PC (Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Google Stadia. The game will also appear on Nintendo Switch, but only in the cloud version.
At the same time, the VR capabilities of Hitman 3 are still considered exclusive to the PlayStation family consoles – whether the mode will appear on other target platforms is currently unknown.
