Video: launch date and new obstacles in fresh trailers for the third season of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout
Devolver Digital and development studio Mediatonic announced the start of the third season of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout at The Game Awards 2020, and IGN shared two videos showing new content.
Recall that the upcoming update is called Winter Knockout and, as you might guess from the name, has a winter bias: characters will be able to transform into snowmen, penguins, deer, and even yeti.
As announced, the third season of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will begin on December 15 (i.e. tomorrow) and will bring with it seven themed levels and more than three dozen alternative costumes.
One of the seven locations that will appear in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout with the release of the upcoming content update, IGN journalists showed on their YouTube channel.
The level is called Tundra Run. The obstacle course offers several paths to the finish line. Boxing gloves, a novelty of the third season, will also prevent players from reaching the goal.
In another IGN video (attached below), Mediatonic’s level designer Joseph Jason shared some of the other hurdles players face in Season 3 of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was released on August 4 this year on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4. At the last The Game Awards 2020, the game won the award for the best community support.
