Video: Polish heroine will appear in Tekken 7 tomorrow – Lydia Sobieska
Following the short preview video, Bandai Namco has released a full-fledged debut trailer with the new fighter’s gameplay. We are talking about Lydia Sobieska, the mysterious Prime Minister of Poland, who wants to defeat the Mishima zaibatsu – a huge organization with a serious military force and its own scientific and technical developments Tekken 7 universe.
This new fighter will be released as DLC and available for purchase on March 23rd as part of the 4th season of the popular fighting game. The new video gives the public a fairly broad view of the stylish martial artist and high-ranking politician who decided to participate in the Iron Fist Tournament to destroy Heihachi Mishima’s empire and eliminate her presence in her homeland.
As you can see in the bright video, Ms. Sobieskaya is very decisive not only in politics but also in the ring. In the trailer presented, she engages in combat with Sergei Dragunov, Brian Fury, and Hwarang before clashing with Heihachi Mishima himself – all for the sake of her people.
During the fights, Lydia speaks her own language, like all the characters in the game. You can hear the following exclamations: “Fight with honor!”, “I must win in the name of all Poles!” or “Okay!” … In this video, the Prime Minister changed from a business suit to a sports one. Still, she has the inscription “Poland” on her chest. Lydia Sobieskaya will appear in the game and a completely new combat location – the sunny arena “Paradise Island.”
Tekken 7 is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC ( on Steam ).
