Publishers 3D Realms and Nightdive Studios as well as developers Slipgate Ironworks and Ritual Entertainment have announced SiN: Reloaded, an updated version of the first-person shooter released in 1998. The improved version will be released on PC (Steam) in 2021.

SiN was once a groundbreaking story-driven first-person shooter with memorable characters, fearsome enemies, and a devastating arsenal. This game took full advantage of the Quake II engine. Now SiN will be released again, but there is no need to rejoice: although the game will improve and receive optimizations for modern systems, the graphics in it by modern standards, to put it mildly, do not shine.

SiN Reloaded includes: the original game and expansion pack Wages of SiN, completely redesigned with the KEX engine; updated hi-res models and textures from Slipgate Ironworks; support for widescreen resolutions; recovered uncensored game resources; controller support; multiplayer modes Deathmatch and Capture the Flag; SiN: Gold 2020 update improvements and bug fixes.

In turn, Colonel John Blade, the head of HardCorps, Freeport’s most famous private security agency and the protagonist of the game, is trying to track down the source of the drug and ultimately stop the villain. He has made crime-fighting his religion and will make Elexis pay for her sins.
