Video: release date in the trailer for The Forgotten City – a game that grew out of a mod for Skyrim

Modern Storyteller and Dear Villagers have released a new trailer for The Forgotten City, a game that grew out of the mod of the same name for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. In a fresh video, the player’s main task was demonstrated, and the release date of the project was revealed.

The action occurs in an ancient city: six potential victims live here, who will turn into sparkling statues if one of them breaks the Golden Rule. This process is demonstrated in the trailer accompanied by melancholic music.

And at the end of the video, another feature of The Forgotten City is shown – a time loop. If the user does not have time to reveal the secret of the mysterious events associated with the Golden Rule, he returns to the point where all the victims are alive. The player needs to communicate with characters, explore the world and solve puzzles to save the six mentioned people.

The Forgotten City will launch in Summer 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Series S, and Nintendo Switch. The exact release date has not yet been announced.
