As promised, Cyberpunk 2077 devoted the lion’s share of the fourth issue of the Night City Wire news program to transport, which will be available to players in Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077

Four-wheeled vehicles are presented in several classes: economy class, executive class, special vehicles (trucks, tanks), sports cars, hypercars.

In addition to fictional cars, Cyberpunk 2077 also has a place for very real models: in particular, we are talking about the 1977 Porsche 911 Turbo car used by Johnny Silverhand.

Silverhand’s connection to transportation in Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t end there – ARCH Motorcycle, co-founded by Keanu Reeves, is responsible for the design and sound of the two-wheeled vehicles in the game.

Among other things, the collaboration with ARCH Motorcycle will bring a bike to Cyberpunk 2077 based on ARCH Motorcycle’s yet-to-be-launched Method 143.

CD Projekt RED recruited multiple Polish rally champion Tomasz Czopik to record the car sounds, and the audio was captured on the race track.

In the video attached below, the developers demonstrated what types of cars were recorded and how many microphones the team had to hang on one vehicle to create a believable sound.

In addition, the developers recalled that cars and motorcycles in Cyberpunk 2077 can be summoned by analogy with Roach from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and promised to implement several types of races in the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to be released on November 19 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, as well as GeForce Now and Google Stadia. Thanks to backward compatibility, the game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X, and S on launch day.
