Video: the player showed how much better Cyberpunk 2077 looks and works on PS4 after all the patches

Since its release, Cyberpunk 2077 has received four major patches, the latest of which, version 1.2,  contains over 500 changes and fixes. Thanks to these updates, the game looks much better even on the base PlayStation 4, as evidenced by a fresh video from the YouTube channel’s author Deep. In it, Deep compared the PS4 versions of the RPG on release and after patch 1.2.

Judging by the video, on the last generation Sony console, the game has become better in all respects. This can be seen already from the first frame, which demonstrates the increased quality of graphics in the character editor. Deep then compared the intro for the corporate agent step by step on the release of Cyberpunk 2077 and after the patches.

The graphical enhancements are instantly striking. Textures have become sharper and more detailed, reflections and shadows have improved, and draw distance has increased. The game still has problems with anti-aliasing and displaying objects at long range, but in terms of visual components, CD Projekt RED’s work on bugs is obvious.

The same can be said about bugs, which became much less in the introduction as a corporate agent. In the scene where V is looking in the mirror, the protagonist’s model is displayed correctly, and NPCs no longer “ride” on the floor without moving their feet.

Unfortunately, even after numerous patches, users continue to complain about the appearance of the police near V. Some players also experienced technical issues due to Update 1.2.

As a reminder, Cyberpunk 2077 is still not available for purchase from the PlayStation Store.
