The author of the YouTube channel Digital Dreams has published a new video dedicated to Grand Theft Auto IV. In the video, the blogger demonstrated how much you can change the visual component of the project with the help of various modifications. If you do not read what kind of game is shown in the frames, then it will be extremely difficult to recognize it.
Initially, the enthusiast replaced Liberty City with Los Santos from Grand Theft Auto V, then used a dozen graphic mods that add 4K environmental textures, other car models, change vegetation, water display, and so on. The blogger also took advantage of the RAYTRACING GI modification that mimics ray tracing technology. This changed the lighting in the action and added reflections on smooth surfaces.
The demonstrated transformation of Grand Theft Auto IV will certainly not please everyone. The game has lost its signature style, has become too bright and too “licked”.
Recall that GTA IV was released in April 2008 on PS3 and Xbox 360, and in December of the same year, it reached PC. The project received 56,851 reviews on Steam, 68% of which were positive. Negative reviews are mostly related to technical issues.
