Vivo has officially confirmed that it will release Origin OS to replace Funtouch OS

Earlier this week, it was reported that the Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is preparing to unveil an all-new proprietary UI shell that will replace Funtouch OS. The company has now officially confirmed on its WeChat account that it is preparing to launch Origin OS.

It is expected that the new skin will be able to offer users a completely new interface design, improved performance, and new features. Some sources claim that Origin OS will become one of the best-branded skins used in Android devices. It is likely that it will include the workings of Jovi OS, which was announced by the company a year ago, but never entered the market.

Origin OS is expected to be released on November 19. Vivo has scheduled a developer conference for this date. It is assumed that during it Vivo will showcase its developments in the field of software and show the X60 smartphone, which is expected to go on sale in November or December and will be the first device based on Origin OS.
