Vivo is preparing two inexpensive Y-series smartphones: the devices have been certified.
Internet sources report that the Chinese company Vivo will soon announce at least two affordable smartphones that will join the Y-Series family: the devices have already been noted in the databases of various certification authorities.
We are talking about the Vivo Y76s and Vivo Y53L models. Information about them appeared on the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) website and in the Central Register of Equipment Identifiers (CEIR). Plus, the Vivo Y76s are already certified by the 3C (China Compulsory Certificate).
It is known that both new items will belong to the budget segment. For them, support for the fifth generation (5G) cellular communication is not provided – the devices will operate in 4G / LTE networks.
Model Vivo Y76s will receive a battery with an 18-watt recharge, but the battery capacity has not yet been revealed.
Most likely, smartphones will be equipped with an HD + display, an inexpensive MediaTek processor, and the main camera with two or three components. The official presentation is expected at the end of May or June.
According to IDC estimates, 345.5 million smartphones were shipped in the world in the first quarter of this year, 25.5% more than last year. Vivo is ranked fifth in the list of top suppliers with a share of 10.1%.
