The car is already available in India
Volkswagen has added a new product to its line of crossovers with excellent cross-country ability: the Taigun in a version with a manual gearbox.
This compact SUV is now available in the Indian market and is aimed at buyers who enjoy light off-roading. It is a rival to the Hyundai Creta Adventure Edition. The car received a unique look with decorative elements, original anthracite wheels, a more functional interior and an expanded range of options.
The Volkswagen Taigun in India can be compared to the European T-Cross. The GT Edge Trail Edition received black and red decals, crossbars above the roof rails, dark wheels, aggressive tires, a contrasting roof and stylish nameplates. The interior has also received some changes: stainless steel pedals, leatherette upholstery with Trail embossing and lighting give the car a unique style.

This special version does not receive options such as a digital instrument panel, ventilated seats, full LED headlights and additional airbags. But there is a built-in DVR. The Taigun GT Edge Trail Edition is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 150 hp. and 250 N•m of torque in combination with a 6-speed manual transmission, and the drive transmits power to the front wheels.
