What’s wrong with the Sony PlayStation 5? The set-top box has many problems with the danger of losing its performance

Even before the release of the console, reviewers reported problems with overheating , reboots and other troubles, one case was even “fatal”.

The first real users complain about problems connecting to the PlayStation Network, as well as downloading games – simply because of the large number of people who want to log into their account, buy or update games. When trying to reboot, the console may get stuck at the reboot screen.

Quiescent mode also causes the console to crash, a fatal error that can cause the console to malfunction. Also, when downloading games and applications, a message may appear about adding to the download queue and a download error, and the subsequent check of the downloads section does not give anything. The only way to get out of the situation is to “rollback” to the factory settings with the loss of all data.

Some experience a sudden drop in performance shortly after power on, freezes and crashes during games. Also, until Sony releases a firmware update, it is not recommended to expand the internal storage, which could disable the box.

Other users have problems using the rear USB ports and LAN cables for data transfer after initial installation. It is recommended to use only the front ports for now, but for now the problem is solved by “rolling back” to the factory settings.

There are also problems with transferring data from PS4 to PS5, updating the DualSense controller, as well as the failure of an HD camera or PlayStation Camera to connect.
