Corporate service Workplace by Facebook has increased its audience to more than 5 million paying users. Since October 2019, this figure has grown by 2 million.
The main driver of the service’s audience growth was the COVID-19 pandemic, because of which many people began to use various tools for working from home more.
Soon, several new features will also appear in the Workplace, including a video conferencing service called Workplace Rooms, automatic subtitles in six languages for live broadcasts, and the ability to use Portal TV for video calls.
Almost all of these features will be launched in June, and Workplace Rooms will be available to service customers until December.
Earlier it became known that Facebook will allow most of its employees to work remotely on an ongoing basis. To do this, they will need to send a request to the management.
