$ 99 + $ 39 for replacement cartridge

Selpic is known primarily for its portable printers. In early June, the company unveiled the Selpic P1, which claims to be the world’s smallest portable printer. Now the device has entered the Indiegogo platform. In just a few hours, the developers have collected more than 70% of the required amount, so there is no doubt about success.

The developers claim that the device can print photos, text, barcodes, QR codes, and more on almost any porous surface, including paper, textiles, leather, wood, as well as curved or uneven surfaces.

The printer uses inkjet technology and can work as a pen. It supports horizontal and vertical printing, and can also switch the direction from left to right or right to left. It has a built-in line break feature that lets you print one or more lines.

The resolution is 600 x 600 DPI and the printer is equipped with 300 nozzles that are spaced 0.002 inches (0.05 mm). The company claims that each nozzle can eject 18 million drops per second, delivering incredible quality and detail.

One of the most interesting features is that you don’t even need a computer or smartphone to print text. The printer is equipped with high-quality speech recognition technology that converts speech to text that can be printed at the touch of a button.

The printer comes with a dedicated smartphone app that you can use to customize the layout and content for printing. The printer cartridge, which will retail for $ 59 (currently $ 39), can also be easily replaced with a single swipe.
