Microsoft is considering adding a new, more affordable Xbox Game Pass subscription, according to Windows Central.

A survey appeared on the Web, which was sent to some Xbox users. They are being asked how they would feel about another Xbox Game Pass plan that will cost $3 per month and give access to a variety of Xbox Game Pass content with some restrictions.

This plan will include access to content with a 6-month delay for new Xbox games. Subscribers to this package will need to view ads before the game is launched.

In addition, this subscription also includes online multiplayer access to games, which currently costs $9.99 per month for an Xbox Live Gold subscription and does not offer any games other than the greatly reduced Xbox Live Games with Gold program. This seems strange, since such a subscription could deprive Microsoft of a large part of its Xbox Live Gold subscribers.

In addition, only one user can use the subscription, and run games on PC or Xbox. Other Game Pass plans support up to 5 users, including on PC, consoles, smart TVs and smartphones.

Microsoft has not yet commented on the situation.
