The company sells two versions of the Mi 11 – with and without charging
Even before the announcement of the Mi 11, Xiaomi said it would exclude the charger from the package of the new flagship, but it would not do it the way Apple did. Indeed, the Chinese company did otherwise.
Xiaomi did not follow the path of Apple: Mi 11 comes with a charger
Now in China, there are two versions of Mi 11 on sale – with a 55W gallium nitride charging unit included (also called Set Edition) and without it. The cost of both versions is the same – $ 610. However, in the future, only the version without a charger will be sold by default (for the same $ 610), and for the Set Edition, they will ask for a surcharge of $ 15. Thus, Xiaomi really did the same as Apple: if the American company did not leave users any choice, then Mi 11 buyers just have a choice. And the first customers get the charger for free.
Also, along with the Mi 11, Xiaomi presented several accessories for it. It’s a $ 15 textured case (it simulates leather), an $ 11 silicone case, and a $ 45 glitter case. Also in China, along with the phone, you can buy Mi Care insurance for $ 105. This amount includes an additional year of warranty and two screen replacements.
