Xiaomi has come up with a smartphone in which you can store wireless headphones
The Chinese company Xiaomi, whose smartphones are very popular in Russia, came up with a cellular device with a very curious design, which implies storing wireless headphones directly in the smartphone case. The description of the novelty was published on the website of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
We are talking about a device in a classic monoblock case. Feature of the smartphone – two compartments at the top, which hide completely wireless submersible headphones.
The insert modules themselves also have an unusual design. Their section with the speaker can be rotated 90 degrees so that while being on the smartphone, the headphones do not protrude too much from the body of the device. Obviously, the earbuds will be able to recharge from the smartphone’s battery.
The device provides a completely frameless display. In the side parts, as you can see in the illustrations, there will be physical control buttons.
The device has no visible front camera. Perhaps Xiaomi is thinking about integrating it directly into the screen area. In addition, a fingerprint scanner can be located in the display area.
However, while the unusual smartphone exists only in patent documentation. The possible timing of its appearance on the commercial market is not reported.
