The top manager only said that the idea of such a car was expressed by one of the company’s fans: his New Year’s desire was to get a car with smart Xiaomi devices, which could be used to travel. The company is known for its close contact with fans and reverent attitude towards them (by the way, the Mi Mix Fold presented today was announced in winter at the dinner of Lei Jun with a fan asset), the head of the company liked the idea, and in three months the engineers made the idea a reality. As Lei Jun noted, if “Mi fans” are interested in such a model, then it will be put into production.
The photo of the salon shows that the interior decoration is represented entirely by household appliances and smart home systems of the company. Such a mobile home is more like a mobile showroom, which is convenient to carry around exhibitions to demonstrate Xiaomi household appliances, and it is not even known whether the minibus on the chassis of which the mobile smart home is built is an electric car. Nevertheless, the company is determined: even if such a mobile home does not go into production, then Xiaomi will definitely produce ordinary passenger electric vehicles. Still, investments in this industry in the amount of $ 100 million, albeit stretched over 10 years, are not a joke.
