Xiaomi introduced inexpensive TVs Mi TV P1 with a diagonal of up to 55 inches and a resolution of up to 4K
Xiaomi held an event in Italy where, among other things, it presented a new series of inexpensive Mi TV P1 TVs. The series consists of 32 “, 43”, 50 “and 55” models. These TVs use an LCD panel with LED backlighting.
The youngest 32-inch model, Xiaomi Mi TV P1, has HD-resolution (1366 × 768 pixels). The rest of the series supports a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K).
All four models feature 60Hz refresh rates and 178-degree viewing angles. They run the Android TV 10 operating system, have Chromecast and Google Assistant support, and offer the ability to install apps from the Play Store.
Models with 4K resolution are based on MediaTek MT9611 processors based on four ARM Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 1.5 GHz and an ARM Mali G52 MP2 graphics core. In addition, these TVs received 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory.
New items support 1.07 billion colors (8-bit + FRC), Dolby Vision, HDR10 +, HLG, and MEMC technology. The screens claim 88% coverage of the NTSC color space and 94% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. 4K models are equipped with dual 10W speakers, Dolby Audio, and DTS-HD support. They have dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, one HDMI 2.0 and one HDMI 2.1 (eARC, VRR), one HDMI (CEC), two USB 2.0, composite AV, Ethernet, optical port, and 3.5mm output. Headphone and PCMCIA connector.
The TVs come with a new Mi TV Remote with a numeric keypad and other function keys.
The declared cost of TVs is:
- Mi TV P1 32 – € 280;
- Mi TV P1 43 – € 450;
- Mi TV P1 50 – € 600;
- Mi TV P1 55 – € 650.
First, the TVs of the Xiaomi Mi TV P1 series will appear in Italy. There, the first buyers from 21 to 24 May will be able to purchase 43- and 55-inch models for 400 and 600 euros, respectively. For other countries, new items will be presented shortly.
