Xiaomi is preparing a relatively affordable transparent TV with a diagonal of only 27 inches

Xiaomi has recently shown a very active interest in product categories such as TVs and monitors. Most recently, she presented a new addition to the Xiaomi Mi TV series in the form of 32 and 43-inch models and even earlier showed a completely transparent 55-inch Mi TV Lux OLED Transparent Edition. According to the latest data, the Chinese manufacturer is also preparing a more compact 27-inch transparent TV model.

According to the Chinese resource MyDrivers, the novelty will use Samsung’s OLED panel as a basis. TV is going to be presented before the end of 2020. Xiaomi has previously shared how it managed to create the first transparent TV for the mass market. It is possible that the new compact 27-inch panel will follow a similar manufacturing principle.

Given the high cost of Samsung’s OLED panels and the innovativeness of transparent displays, the new 27-inch transparent TV shouldn’t be expected to be an affordable product. The company positions it as a High-End class, so the price will be appropriate. For comparison, the company has estimated the same 55-inch transparent model Mi TV Lux OLED Transparent Edition at about $ 7,200. 

Unfortunately, the Chinese source did not provide other information regarding the technical features of the 27-inch transparent TV Xiaomi.
