Xiaomi launches $ 500 Mi Notebook 14 e-Learning laptop with Intel Comet Lake chip
Xiaomi, as planned, presented a new portable computer in the Mi Notebook 14 family: a device with an e-Learning Edition prefix is aimed primarily at students.
The laptop is equipped with a 14-inch LCD display with a Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels), an aspect ratio of 16: 9, and a viewing angle of up to 178 degrees. The screen occupies 81.2% of the lid surface area. The top frame houses a webcam with HD video (720p) support.
The silicon “brain” of the laptop is an Intel Core i3-10110U processor of the Comet Lake generation. The chip combines two cores with support for multithreading and an Intel UHD graphics accelerator. The nominal clock speed is 2.1 GHz, the maximum is 4.1 GHz.
The equipment includes 8 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM, a 256 GB solid-state drive, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapters, and an audio system with 2-watt stereo speakers.
The device measures 323 x 228 x 17.95 mm and weighs 1.5 kg. Among the available interfaces are two USB Type-A (USB 3.1 Gen1) ports, a USB 2.0 connector, an HDMI connector, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The declared battery life on one recharge of the battery reaches 10 hours.
The operating system is Windows 10 Home. The estimated price of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 e-Learning Edition is $ 500.
